Tucked into the historic Bond Store on Murray Esplanade, Sharp's is a wonderfully eccentric combination of working antique penny arcade machines, old-fashioned silent and black-and-white films, and a fudge shop that has been handcrafting confectionery for more than 35 years. Entry to the shop and fudge tasting is free, making it an easy and enjoyable stop for visitors of all ages.

The penny arcade section holds more than 50 working machines dating from around a century ago, covering fortune tellers, strength testers, peep shows, and various mechanical amusements that predate the digital age. The machines operate on a pay-per-play basis using old pennies exchanged at the counter, giving the experience an authentic period feel.

The fudge is the other drawcard. Sharp's produces everything in small batches using traditional methods, with a wide selection of flavours. Free tastings are offered at the counter, and the shop has built a loyal following among repeat visitors.

The Bond Store building itself is part of the heritage precinct, giving the visit an additional layer of historical context.
