Trentham Estate is a family-owned winery and restaurant set directly on the banks of the Murray River at Trentham Cliffs, about 15 minutes from central Mildura. The estate grows 46 hectares of vines on a winding riverbank site and produces a full range of varietal wines from the Murray Darling region, with the cellar door and alfresco balcony restaurant giving visitors an easy combination of tasting and dining in one stop.
The cellar door is open seven days a week from 10am to 5pm, with knowledgeable staff available for wine tastings and sales. Lighter share-plate options are available daily, while the full restaurant runs a fresh, seasonal menu focusing on produce from the surrounding region. Indoor dining and an alfresco balcony both overlook the Murray, making it a particularly scenic spot for a long lunch.
Trentham Estate has been producing wine since the 1980s and is regarded as one of the pioneer estates of the Murray Darling wine region. The estate runs a wine club with regular deliveries and is also available as a functions and wedding venue.
The winery is located on the Sturt Highway at Trentham Cliffs, NSW, easily accessible by car from Mildura heading towards Wentworth.
