Right in the heart of Darwin's Mitchell Street, Crocosaurus Cove houses the world's largest display of Australian reptiles across a sprawling indoor and outdoor complex. Saltwater crocodiles up to five metres long are the stars of the show, but the venue also features freshwater whiprays, turtles, fish, and a full range of Australian lizards and snakes across daily live shows.

The signature experience is the Cage of Death, a clear acrylic capsule lowered into a pool with a massive saltwater crocodile. Visitors are separated from the animal by only a few centimetres of transparent plastic, giving an unobstructed view of these prehistoric predators. The experience runs throughout the day and can be booked for one or two people at a time.

Beyond the Cage of Death, several reptile shows run daily across different enclosures. The VIP Big Croc Feed Tour allows visitors to hand-feed a large crocodile under keeper supervision, and the Whipray Encounter involves feeding freshwater stingrays during the afternoon session. A freshwater pool section lets children swim in a safe, croc-free environment.

The venue is open every day of the year except Christmas Day. General admission gives full access to all reptile enclosures and daily shows, with the premium encounters available as add-ons.
